Wow here we are at the end of the year. I have to say, this year is probably the fastest year that has gone by for me! But yet at the same time, we have done so many things together as a Leadership class. Starting from the beginning of the year when I joined. A couple weeks after that, we started attending meetings for the committee. Mine was Wellness. Then, on September 28th, for the first time, I worked in TV. Then that quarter ended. On October 24th, we did biocubes. And then finally, Halloween came. I was dressed up as Axel Rose, but no one probably knows that lol. Then we had the Turkey Trot. I took yearbooks photos for that. And the week after that, we for the first time went to ISA bowling. Next, we did sign holding next to the road. My sign was NO SECOND CHANCES. And then that quarter ended and Christmas came. That first week we did ISA bowling. Then we started getting ready for the Team Competitions. My team,(team 72) won! And then we started practicing for the dance competition. But because of Cronavirus it got canceled and we were all very sad. Next Quarter we started doing Distance Learning. Thats pretty much what we did the entire Quarter except every week we got an assignment from Leadership. Well thats pretty much it. Oh, and you probably already know this but my entire year I read books!!

Lesson of Year learned:
My lesson for this year is the same lesson I had for my Biocube at the very beginning of the year. I think its right to use this lesson again because I've experienced the exact thing throughout the year. And that is good things don't come easy. And from the Leadership audition to the very last Leadership assignment, I've been living up to this lesson. If I want to be successful in life, I have to remember that I need to work for it to get it.
Looking Forward:
There are many things I am looking forward to next year. I am excited to be an 8th grade Leadership student. I am excited to be able to help 7th graders in Leadership and be there for them as the 8th graders have done for me. I am really excited to see the new assignments we will have for the beginning of the year. And most of all, I am looking forward to seeing how we can all evolve as a class.
What I am most thankful for:
This year I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for having welcoming people help me ever since the beginning of the year. I am thankful for having wonderful people in my period. I am thankful for all of the wonderful work Leadership has done to help benefit Ilima. I am thankful for the 8th graders for helping me and Alumni for me to look up to. And lastly, I am most thankful for having an amazing teacher to guide us throughout the years, Mr. Ing.
