Viv's "End-of-Quarter" Blog (Q1)

This first quarter of our year, we had a tour of the school. When  we finally memorized ,  we started to begin our school year. I first had Miss Piho as my homeroom teacher, but then I
auditioned  for leadership in Mr. Ing’s class and I got in. With Mr. Ing as my new leadership teacher  we  started doing flag football.  Then in band, we all started to pick instruments and I auditioned   for percussion and I got in.

My highlights of the first quarter this year, is helping out with  flag football,  even though it was kind of hot, and music  which was my favorite job. My low lights of this quarter was being in the media center because it got really cold, and having to write an essay in English because I don’t like to write essays.

My lesson of this quarter is to persevere even when times get rough.

Something I need to work on for the next quarter is to learn to play the marimba and a xylophone more better  in band.  I also have to work on doing my handwriting better. And lastly, I have to work on getting more tough at  rough times.
