*sigh... Where to start. Well I can tell you that I have been working haaaarrrrrd on my novel, thats for sure. Oh, yeah and I also did the Little Things Matter Assignment. I'll tell you about that on the fourth paragraph.. So Monday, I actually started writing a different book. I know its not gonna be published, but thats not my goal. My goal is to actually write something. I mean I have to do something with all this time. Anyhoo back to my summary. Why a "different" story you say? Well, its kinda a trial-and-error. So that was my Monday, of corse though I also did school. Tuesday, I finished all my school to get it done with. Wednesday, I made muffins and they werent made from scratch just the box. Thursday, I didnt do anything. Wait I called my cousins and I did the Little Things Matter assignment. And Friday, I finished a book! Jk. I just finished the Prologue. Turns out its fricken hard to come up with a story. I mean, if you want to come up with ANY story, you first hav to figure out what its gonna be about. In my case, its dystopian. Well, anyhoo that was my week.
Highlights:
Highlights:
- Writing
- Reading
- Making muffins
Lowlights:
- Writing AGAIN (its fun but hard and gives my headaches!)
- Thats it! Pretty good week!
Lesson learned:
My lesson for this week is to think outside the box. Like I thought I was just gonna be the READER of the books, not the WRITER. I never knew I had that passion until I actually stopped and thought about it. You never know what your passion will be unless you try it.
Assignment Reflect:
Overall this assignment was kinda hard. Well, to start, I had to research about each person and it was hard to find some legit stuff. I think the easiest category for me was the American Music rewards. Probably cause I new about them the most. The hardest was the Leadership one cause I dont know the alumni the most. I talked to some of my friends and my parents if they knew anything about the people. This is how I met each of the GLOs:
GLO#1: I was a self directed learner by researching by myself about some of the people.
GLO#2: I was a community contributor by texting leadership members about who these people were.
GLO#3: I was a complex thinker by doing the paragraph at the end of each category.
GLO#4: I was a quality producer by finding legit and real websites that were credible.
GLO#5: I was an effective communicator by asking for help when I needed to, like for the Leadership category.
GLO#6: I was an effective and ethical user of technology by using my phone and computer for this assignment.
What I learned from the assignment? Well, I think I learned about famous people in the world I didn't know AND a little more about the Leadership Alumni.
Heres a pic of the prologue I wrote. Sorry cant really tell you!
