Leadership Summer Blog

Hi blogger viewers! Let’s start with the summary. So I was out of town in LA and Arizona(sorry if this is short I only started Leadership this year last week Monday). But on August 5th, I went to Leadership for schedule pickup. We basically registered students for school. I also met a few of the new leadership students. Then I went the next week all through Thursday. So Monday, we did normal schedule pickup and we started out assignments. We have to start our Biocube but not rush through it because it won’t be due until a month or two. But I started anyways because I like to get stuff done😋. Anyhoo, we also got pizza that day. Tuesday, I MYSELF did schedule pickup. I got my planner and picture for ID. We also went to the cages. It was REALLY HOT in there. So basically what we did was get things we didn’t need and put it in the cages. Wednesday, I didnt go because I had a doctors appointment. Thursday, almost everyone was doing testing except for me and a few other people. I worked at the register the entire time. And finally Friday, we did normal schedule pick up stuff except for me because I did the testing. The testing was REALLY long and kind of hard. After I finished all of the testing, I worked at the register the rest of the time. After we finished schedule pick up, we had food and hanged out until 1:00. Oh and also if you don’t know this, I read A LOT during all of this lol.

Highlights & Lowlights:

Highlights:

• Getting pizza

• Doing schedule pick up (it was kind of fun)

• and of course READING!

Lowlights:

• Getting hot/cold (outside is really hot and the classroom is really cold lol)

• nothing else overall good!

Lesson learned:

Lesson for this blog is to try your best to get stuff done early. So I learned this because I remember last year that I always had to work on assignments last minute because I was lazy. But this year I wanted to change that so I started on my biocube (and also this blog lol I started this on Tuesday) early. When you get done or even start assignments early, it can get you into a better routine and keep you from worrying too much.

Something I’d like to do this year other than get good grades and have fun is to be the best Leadership student I can be. Now look, I know that sounds VERY cliche, like VERY. But it’s true. I want the school to view me and all the other leadership students as someone to look up to. And also see leadership in us.

These two pics are of me and some of the Leadership girls.

This is a pic of a spider we kind of trapped in a whiteboard circle lol.
