Quarter 2 Blog *First Mainland Edition!*

Hey everyone! So you know when people say "Wow, that went by fast!", it usually means that it was fun because it passed the time so quickly. Well, this quarter went by fast. But it was not just "fun". It was one of the best experiences in my life. Why? Because of the things I did. But tbh a lot of it did not take place in school. I mean, Leadership did give me a lot of interesting assignments (that isn't supposed to sound boring lol). But no, fr. The assignments gave me something to do, and is this weird, but like I feel like the blogs are kinda therapeutic. For me lmao. I mean every week there were the good things and well the not so good things. And it's not like I can tell these things to anyone, cuz I mea we in the middle of a deadly pandemic😂. So every blog I try to pour my heart out because... well yeah. So here are my experiences. Ima try to keep it nice and short because there's obviously longgg stories behind each one, and i mean lets be real, you guys don't wanna hear the long parts lmao. (these are in the highlights and lowlights)

Highlights Q2:

  • Making new friends
  • Jumping from a 20ft dock on Halloween night in the pitch black dark with these very friends
  • Getting exceeding grades lol
  • Having some fun from the assignments
  • Reading(ofccc)
  • Linking up with an old friend
  • Music (it has literally got me thru some hard stuff)
  • Halloween and Thanksgiving ig
  • and idk having more "alive" vibes lol idkk
Lowlights Q2:
  • Election stuff. Yk i fr don't have a mind for politics but it everyone else's stress effects me so yh:(
  • Constant headaches(i mean what do you expect are schooling is done on computers ahaha)
  • MATHH
  • You know, that's it. Thankfully this is a good quarter despite the circumstances:)

My lesson learned for this quarter is that there is good things among thee bad things. For example, we in the MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC but we are still living and having fun:). So don't let the negative stuff block the positive stuff:).

So for this quarter blog's extra para, I got mixed feelings. How do I feel staying home for the rest of the year. Bad. Very bad. But also good. Very good.😂 Yeah so let's start with why it's so terribly bad. I don't get to see my friends in person that much, it's very stressful at some points because there is ALWAYS an issue with distance learning-lagging, miscommunication, unclearness, confusion, disconectionnn aghhhh. So yeah that's the negativenessnessness(LOL). As for the positiveness you must be like, "Hey how is there some positivity in all this Vivien? Life is horrible rn😭!!!". Yeah... not totally, completely for me. So I'v had these neighbors where they like... yk your "friends" but not COMPLETELY close. Heck, idk if we are technically "close-er" now. But something definitely changed(as read from the highlights list above). We started hanging out more, talking more, and had more fun than I would of with them in quarantine than not-in-quarantine. So let's see. In my past 7 years of school, I prolly would have been more socially connected with some people. Now this year? Ehh. But real talk, I may not of made more "new friends", but instead, got closer to amazing people who have been right under my nose the ENTIRE TIME. BOOM PLOT-TWISTTTT!!!

So, you may be asking why in the world would I have this picture on my LEADERSHIP blog. Well, my dad took this photo on a job he was doing(Hes a photographer) and anyways, I felt that this can compare to life rn. If you look closely, it looks hopeless. The road goes on and on and on, never stopping. In these times(Pandemic and all), we have to have hope. This Pandemic won't go on forever, so we have to persevere and get through this.

So obviously, if you've seen this video about hope, then you prolly recognize this. This is that video.

LOL so idk why I decided this pic to be one of the three, but dang it's so funny. So this is my PE teacher, but we are doing NOTHING. If you read it, it's so funny🤣🤣!!
