Monday, I had the WORST headache. We had a guest speaker come that day in Advisory and it was interesting to see how Leadership can benefit you in college. We also shared our sketches that day in class. Tuesday(the PAIN part) I woke up early and thought to myself: Hey! I should go back to running!, because I haven't gone on morning runs lately. So I start running and all of a sudden, I don't feel as fast as I use to. And it HURT. It felt like I was DRAGGING WEIGHTS. So I told my self: VIVIEN. DO NOT STOP RUNNING. ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER. Annnnd. . . THATS when I realized. . . if you don't run constantly, than you'll lose all of your speed and cardio strength if you stop for a long time. And THATS what I did. For the past 2 weeks, I got lazy and stopped running. BAD idea. Pro tip: if your running daily, DON'T STOP. Okay, back to summary. Wednesday I was 60% SORE and 40% TIRED. But I had to push through that dayπ©. Thursday, we had evens and I realllyyy need to find something to bake (for Home Ec). Finally, Friday I did I-ready, Book Club, and Blog :).
A highlight this week is reading. I mean, come on, yk me ;). A lowlight is, obviously, regrets of not running earlier. It HURTS MEH.π Another lowlight is being sore ;_;. Overall: bAd wEeK πππ
Now, the lesson. If you read my summary rant above, you probably have a good idea what my lesson if gonna be. Except, less literally and more figuratively. This week, I experienced the pain of not keeping a good schedule and slacking off. Lesson: PUSH THROUGH! Don't use excuses, just do it. Oh LOL. I used Nike's thing LOLOLOL. (FR THO THAT WAS ON ACCIDENTππ) Now I understand why they used that slogan lol. Ok back to lesson. DON'T make excuses for not doing something if you didn't even try. It will HURT. But DO IT. π.
